Place-Based Education

For our EDEF 3200 class, our groups were given the opportunity to choose an article to study and present to the class. My group chose Place-Based education. This is an area that I do not have a lot of experience in, however, after reading the article (link included below) I felt I had a much better understanding and connection to the idea of place-based education. After doing our presentation which included moments for self-reflection, I realized how much I want to implement this in my classroom as connecting to the land and learning through the world. around us is so important and it does not have to be complicated. Below are some questions that arose for me during the article as well as a web I created which ties main points of the article together.
